You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Strategic Planning Office of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14, however, this is not a high grade position therefore the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $151,870).

Duties

You will manage the technical capability health assessment processes. You will lead the development of quarterly execution review. You will analyze data to identify capability and capacity gaps. You will develop mitigation strategies to address gaps and develop measures to assess progress in mitigating and closing gaps. You will manage the Division's performance management process (balanced scorecard metrics).

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $151,870).

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying analytical and evaluative techniques to assess organizational effectiveness.
