You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Integrated Weapon Systems Support Division of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will provide management control, oversight, guidance, and support to evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's programs and supply support functions for life cycle management of assigned weapons systems and platforms.
You will identify Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program planning and execution problems and implement corrective action plans to facilitate adequate logistics support.
You will coordinate and manage projects, programs, and procedures to optimize support of assigned weapon systems and platforms.
You will plan, balance, and direct team workload, set team priorities, and establish deadlines to ensure program requirements are met.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying expert knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and supply planning principles, concepts, and methodologies to manage a variety of complex ILS projects. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Modifying or developing new ILS practices and procedures to meet program goals and objectives; 2) Identifying and analyzing logistics problems and providing detailed recommendations to resolve issues; 3) Utilizing knowledge of Department of the Navy (DON) budget formulation and execution of policies and procedures to manage ILS plans; and 4) Providing technical direction and guidance to team members, coordinating group efforts, and setting workload priorities.
