You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will have knowledge of supply support logistics element at a sufficient level to function as the logistical authority and key decision-maker for the HSC assigned programs.
You will have a broad knowledge and skill in the application of Integrated Logistics Support Management principles, concepts and methodology applicable to a variety of difficult and complex ILS projects.
You will provide appraisals and reports on the status of milestones assigned to NAVSUP WSS for action and acts as a point of contact and reference for the Command, Hardware Systems Command (HSC).
You will evaluate/ensure the provisioning process for new equipment entering the inventory is accurate and completed on time.
You will ensure budget requirements for procurement of spares and repair parts are submitted timely and accurately to include Mid-Year, Sustainment Program Baseline (SPB), Baseline Assessment Memos (BAMs) and Inventory Augmentation submissions.
You will oversee, evaluate, and coordinate supply support for assigned systems and platforms.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing supply support functions for life cycle management of assigned weapons systems and platforms. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following duties: 1) Participating in monitoring and evaluating the programs progress; 2)Formulating and coordinating execution of the material budget and budget related projects; 3) Implementing integrated logistics policies and procedures including ensuring item management, supply planning, provisioning, technical referrals, packing, reprocurement, etc.; 4) Assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, consideration of the difficulty and the capabilities of employees; and 5) Utilizing Navy ERP, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access).
