You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the MANPOWER AND MILITARY PERSONNEL DIVISION (N12), MANPOWER AND PERSONNEL DEPARTMENT (N1) of NCTAMSLANT NORVA.
This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
Duties
You will interview candidates for employment, effect minor disciplinary actions, such as warnings and reprimands, recommending more serious measures to the department head, as necessary.
You will review work of the Division for accuracy and ensure deadlines are met.
You will support and carry out the policies of the Equal Employment Opportunity Program.
You will advise and coordinate with Department Heads to ensure that enlisted personnel are assigned in accordance with manpower documents based on availability and emerging mission requirements.
You will ensure military personnel issues of varying natures are handled accurately and promptly to ensure highest quality of life for assigned personnel.
You will conduct periodic reviews of military manpower documents and distribute relevant reports to ensure the right mix of skills are assigned to billets in order to accomplish the command’s mission.
You will realign military manpower resources as necessary due to mission and tasking changes.
You will advise activity heads on appropriate alternatives in order to fill mission manning needs for military.
You will track onboard numbers for enlisted and officers and produces periodic reports with analysis, when required.
You will coordinate with enlisted detailers (BUPERS), Manning Control Authority (FFC) and Enlisted Personnel Management Center (EPMAC) to discuss current and anticipated manning problems.
Requirements

Qualifications
Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by:
-Experience supervising personnel and evaluating performance, recommending awards, developmental training and changes to positions.
-Experience analyzing and interpreting manpower policies and guidelines.
-Experience utilizing manpower databases to evaluate and analyze manning information including current and onboarding personnel.
-Experience developing solutions to manning problems.
This position is within the Work Category SUPERVISION AND MANAGEMENT at Work Level FULL-PERFORMANCE, Series and Grade GG-0343-12.
