This vacancy is for a Program Analyst position in the Decennial Contracts Execution Office located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. The Census Bureau is accessible from the Metro Rail Green Line - Suitland Station.

Duties
Plan, coordinate, schedule, carry out, monitor, and report status of activities for large-scale projects and/or contracts involving multiple stakeholders.
Oversee and direct the work of individuals and project teams for a large-scale projects and/or contracts.
Consult, collaborate, and build partnerships with stakeholders and communicate technical information with a variety of audiences.
Serve as the subject matter or technical expert for large-scale projects and/or contracts supporting various data collection operations across the United States.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, To qualify you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: monitoring projects or developing project plans and schedules; developing and documenting requirements and/or specifications for largescale projects and/or contracts supporting various data collection operations across the United States; leading a team or reviewing the work of others; writing program/project management documentation and/or processes; working with various customers and staff to gather information, prepare documents of findings, and/or present results or recommendations; and assisting with budget planning and/or tracking expenditures.
Education: Education cannot substitute for experience at this grade level.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer.
