This vacancy is for a Supervisory Management Analyst position in the Administrative and Customer Services Division located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. The Census Bureau is accessible from the Metro Rail Green Line - Suitland Station.
Duties
Supervises staff that provides mail services to headquarters and regional offices.
Develops budgetary plans and makes recommendations to upper management regarding overall budget and manpower resources.
Manages the Transit Subsidy Program and the daily local transportation program which includes scheduled shuttle trips between Census headquarters and various locations within the Washington Metropolitan area.
Manages the maintenance and repair of a fleet of vehicles and mechanical equipment.

Qualifications
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: directing transportation service operations to include fleet maintenance and repair; directing mail service operations and developing ways to improve accuracy of the program to meet objectives; assessing staff to determine areas for development; and managing a customer service operations team.
Education: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
