Duties

Reviews, assesses and evaluates a wide variety of projects. Implements changes to existing systems/programs considering factors such as cost, schedule and increased efficiency of operations. Advises on formulation of broad policies and doctrines. Develops plans for accomplishment of the assigned programs. Reviews and evaluates data relating to short and long range operations and requirements to keep abreast of program progress and anticipated problems. Identifies problem areas and determines and directs actions necessary to accomplish organizational operations. Maintains liaison with appropriate representatives of higher headquarters, field commands, and industry to ensure up-to-date awareness of the status of all actions, detection of before-the-fact potential slippage and of increased costs. Reviews reports, analyzes issues, directs problem solving, evaluates progress, assesses outcomes, reports on task and schedule progress and outcomes, and recommends follow-on actions.

This position is part of the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC), Science and Technology Reinvention Laboratory Personnel Management Demonstration Project. CCDC Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) is participating in an alternative personnel system known as the Personnel Management Demonstration Projection.
