You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Office of the Duputy Director for Fleet Supply and Logistics, Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CPF N41B) of OPERATIONAL SUPPORT FACILITY.
Duties
You will support the Fleet Supply and Logistics department's ability to maintain audit readiness.
You will participate in financial and logistic testing and surveys, review and evaluate resulting reports, and develop improvements or corrective action measures.
You will coordinate with internal and external auditing communities to answer questions pertaining to financial statements, current/former audits, and system changes.
You will represent CPF in meetings with various governmental offices and auditing organizations to ensure DON concerns are addressed.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the DON Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) program and the Navy Business Process Standards.
You will write, edit, or make contributions to instructions and publications related to FIAR compliance.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing financial management or logistics processes, formulating solutions to problems, and implementing process changes to improve productivity, effectiveness and efficiency of operations while maintaining readiness for financial audits.
