You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) San Diego of NAVSUP FLC SD GF.
Duties
You will interface with ship’s force leadership and Supply Department personnel \ to ensure an integrated approach to logistics related problem solving to maximize unit operational availability
You will coordinate with shipboard Supply Officers to develop and implement short and long-term plans to effectively apply logistics resources to accomplish operational missions.
You will provide a variety of daily routine supply management duties involving all aspects of stock management of various Classes of Supply.
You will prepare formal reports that summarize findings and recommendations for submission to the Commanding Officer and Navy activities of higher echelon.
You will ensure shipboard customers are expeditiously supported.
As a service provider acting at the direction of the shipboard customer, you will execute logistics support functions to include procurement, inventory, financial, receipt, micro-purchase, fuel procurement, and material routing message management.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Interfacing with ship's force leadership and Supply Department personnel to ensure an integrated approach to logistics related problem solving to maximize unit operational availability; 2) providing a variety of daily routine supply management duties involving all aspects of stock management of various Classes of Supply; 3) coordinating all aspects of logistics support to include material procurement, inventory management, financial management, material execution operations including Material Obligation Validation and Material Outstanding File management, Government Commercial Purchase Card operations, fuel procurement, and material routing functions (Fleet Freight Routing and Mail Routing Instruction messages) in support of afloat forces; 4) Working knowledge of supply operations, specifically Shipboard Afloat Supply.
