You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Training Department of NTTC DET DEFENSE INFO SCH.
Duties
You will possess knowledge and working understanding of established Naval administrative and management principles, policies, practices and procedures.
You will prepare messages in the Navy's DMS System.
You will have knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and required legal formats and directives regarding preparation of written communication.
You will have knowledge of Navy student personnel pipeline management to ensure students are enrolled, training, and transferred expeditiously.
You will have knowledge of operation skills and student reporting and accounting systems to maintain accurate accounting of sailors in training.
You will use knowledge of regulations and agency practices to present to Judge Advocate of BUPERS for interpretation of policy and guidance for complicated and sensitive issues and cases involving multiple offenses and numerous grounds for separation
You will perform the procedural and administrative work of the organization such as preparing investigative reports, report chits, appeals, administrative discharge recommendations and other military justice and legal assistance documents.
You will work independently, apply sound judgement to analyzing and resolving problems, plan, organize work, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Monitors and advises on management and control of records, monitoring standard procedures for records, storage, retrieval, and dissemination; 2) Utilizing multiple software programs and computer applications (e.g., CeTARS, ATRRS, Salesforce, and the Microsoft Office suite) to produce a wide range of documents and reports; 3) Responsible for monitoring and resolving personnel related problems such as legal and medical holds; and 4) Coordinates separation physicals, transition assistance, final evaluations, legal assistance, and pay and separation issues with appropriate officials. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree OR
I have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
