This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This position is assigned to Product Lead Strategic Spectrum Warfare (PL SSW) under Project Manager Electronic Warfare and Cyber. PL SSW is responsible to deliver premier signals intelligence and electronic warfare capabilities to meet current and future Army needs.
Duties
Serves as the Operations Specialist and manages the execution of the Project/Product Management Office (PMO) day-to-day operations mission.
Works independently within a framework of priorities and overall objectives.
Manages and orchestrates the synchronization of all organization activities in support of operational training requirements.
Plans the PMO’s administrative mission operation programs, to provide support for senior leadership and ensure compliance to military operations standards.
Oversees and serves as a functional expert for PEO/PM Tasker System.
Designs and conducts studies, identifies potential problem areas and devises solutions.
Represents the Command at various meetings such as PEO, PM Synchronizations meetings.
Creates and executes that annual training program, which includes scheduling and hosting the events with external agencies.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level Practitioner in the Acquisition Career Field Program Management within 60 months of entrance on duty.

Specialized Experience: Your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Supporting Risk Management Internal Control (RMIC) program for preparation for annual audits; 2) Interpreting policies, procedures and requirements to advise on matters affecting an organization's compliance; 3) Managing incoming and outgoing taskers to maintain organizational efficiency; and 4) Utilizing independent judgement to plan and coordinate successful organizational events.
