About the Position: Serves as the Senior Program Analyst in the Resource Management/G-8, Program Budget Division, Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA) Budget Office responsible for analyzing and coordinating data pertaining to special projects and all things related to Program Objective Memorandum (POM), and Resource Summit.
Duties
Provide analytical, operational, and financial technical services to all organizations under the Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM).
Lead for updating and consolidating Project Objective Memorandum (POM) and Resource Summit slide decks for Army Material Command (AMC) briefings.
Responsible for analyzing, reviewing, executing, and coordinating data pertaining to POM, and Resource Summit.
Responsible for the development and submission of annual Resource Summit.
Provide advice on fiscal related matters and any other special projects/tasks directed by the OMA Budget Chief.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the Army Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle to enhance effectiveness.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret (Tier 3) security clearance.
- Must obtain Financial Management Certification Level 2 in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management within 2 years of employment.
- Temporary duty (TDY) travel is occasionally required.

Specialized Experience: Your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience to include: (1) Analyzing program functions to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and timelines; (2) Evaluating budget requirements to measure effectiveness of program planning; and (3) Utilizing written and verbal communication to provide advice regarding program management and budget related issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service.
