You will serve as a MILITARY PAY & PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATOR / Senior Command Pay and Personnel Administrator (CPPA) in the Total Force Manpower and Personnel Directorate (NI) of PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT.

Duties
You will plan, organize, improve processes, and direct personnel and pay support affecting all military personnel entitlements which includes basic allowance for housing, sea pay, meal deductions, and cost of living allowances for overseas commands.
You will provide expertise, knowledge, and guidance to subordinate commands' CPPAs in analyzing Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS), program evaluation, assessment, and providing CPPA training.
You will provide training to commands in Washington, Virginia, California, Guam, and Japan, and includes CCPA functions, separations, MILPAY, transfers, receipts, reenlistments/extensions, and education service officer.
You will maintain and update the Submarine Personnel Manual providing updates to sailor entitlements based on Unit Command Financial Report (eUCFR) updates or changes.
You will perform site visits and routine command audits in key and essential submarine concentration areas to evaluate sailors' pay, providing on-the-job training, and assistance in correcting pay discrepancies on the spot.
You will prepare formal reports of violations detected involving possible fraud, waste, or abuse within the Military Pay and Travel benefits programs.
You will screen and analyze numerous database systems to determine the best possible candidate to fill the Individual Augmentation (IA) billet.
You will serve as liaison between Exercise Augmentation participant's parent command, COMSUBPAC comptroller, and COMPACFLT to resolve personnel and travel funding issues involving deploying participants.
You will utilize the enhance Unit Command Financial Report (eUCFR) manual, Joint Travel Regulation, DoD Financial Management Regulation for training sessions.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing military personnel and pay policies, programs, and transactions (e.g., pay / travel entitlements, benefits, basic allowances) to identify negative trends or discrepancies and develop recommended solutions; and advising service members regarding personnel and pay procedures and policies.
