You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the COMPTROLLER GROUP (B8) BUSINESS & FINANCIAL OPERATIONS DEPT (B86) PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SUPPORT DIV (B861) of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
You will evaluate work performance of subordinates
You will advise, counsel, or instruct to employees on both work and administrative matters
You will resolve complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager.
You will identify developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: specialized experience.
Resolve technical problems; review work, provide, and/or research answers to employees and/or supervisor questions.
Approve timekeeping documents and leave requests, training requests, travel orders, and miscellaneous forms and/or correspondence relate to workplace safety and on-the-job injuries, security-related access and clearance issues, employee separations, etc.
Prepare performance plans covering work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
Advice, counsel, or instruct to employees on both work and administrative matters.
Recommend or make some issue decisions on serious disciplinary actions recommended by subordinate supervisors, including removals from Federal service.
