You will serve as a LEAD FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the CONTROLLER GROUP BUDGET FORM, JUST & EXECUTION DEPT MISSION AREA SUPPORT DIV of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will perform and advise within the performance of functions such as budget formulation, execution and analysis of an overhead budget.
You will present, defend budgets, analyze, and recommend cost benefit of alternative methods of financial management as it relates to overhead execution.
You will review and evaluate budget requests, controls and reporting of capabilities of obligations and expenditures.
You will develop, determine and interpret of budget policies and practices.
You will train or arrange for training of employees in teamwork and/or specific technical training as necessary.

- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: specialized experience;
Communicate the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, values and incorporate these into the team's goals, objectives, work products and services.
Lead team in selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and provide advice on work methods, procedures, etc.
Distribute and balance workload among employees considering skill level or specialization, and timeframes for completion and priorities.
Represent the team in dealing with the supervisor in order to obtain resources and convey team findings and recommendations to program officials or other customers.
Research, apply qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve team effectiveness, efficiency and work products.
Lead team in exploring alternatives and determining potential improvements in work processes, methods and procedures, inform employees of available service and work-related activities.
