You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Corporate Operations Group, Naval Air Warfare Center of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

You will advise others on the use of automated systems (e.g., Systems, Applications, and Products [SAP], Enterprise Resource Planning [ERP], Material Management Module [MM], or similar systems). You will analyze and resolve issues within financial processes, controls, or information. You will analyze budgetary relationships to develop recommendations for financial actions under various types of conditions and time pressures. You will coordinate corrective actions to resolve audit readiness problems identified during surveys.

• This is a bargaining unit position.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This is a Financial Management Level 2 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1. Analyzing and recommending cost benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations.2. Presenting and defending A-11 budgets.3. Implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budget.4. Applying internal controls and providing advice on effective and efficient methods for acquisition and use of funds to support the organizations activities.5. Utilizing ERP Purchase Requests ME51N and ME53N and various reports which include 3611 and ZCADO.
