This position is within the FAA, Aviation Safety (AVS), Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM), Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI), Program Management Staff, AAM-006. The Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM) develops and manages medical programs in support of Aviation Safety.

Duties

Applies experience and advanced knowledge applicable to plan and accomplish assignments of video production including consultation, direction, editing, script writing, camera operations, set lighting, and video electronic graphics; audio/visual (A/V) projects encompassing print design to visual/video production that includes the use of animation and real life taping/recording; operates, modifies, and maintains digital recording, and analog video equipment.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.

Qualifications

TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-H (FG/GS 12) level, you must demonstrate in your application you possess at least one year of Specialized Experience equivalent to FV-G (FG/GS 10/11) level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes experience in video production, consultation, direction, editing, script writing, camera operations, set lighting, and video electronic graphics; audio/visual (A/V) projects encompassing print design to visual/video production including the use of animation and real life taping/recording; operating, modifying, and maintaining digital recording and analog video equipment; digitizing paper and photo documents for archiving.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.ANDQUALITY RANKING FACTOR (QRF): Well qualified candidates will have experience using multiple video recording production equipment, editing, and finalizing productions for use.
