You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.
Duties
You will develop and submit changes to higher authority agencies to improve various configuration and logistics policy or procedures.
You will develop and implement procedures with various Naval department ILS agencies for specific systems support.
You will develop and execute complete ILS packages for Fleet units undergoing CNO availabilities, Continual Maintenance Availabilities (CMAVs), and Windows of Opportunity (WOOs).
You will review and track training databases, which encompasses technical manual reviews, test equipment and configuration information to Configuration Data Manager (CDM)
You will provide direction in supporting the ILS processes by providing and coordinating all ILS aspects related to
equipment alterations during maintenance availability.
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Providing and coordinating Integrated Logistics Support aspects related to equipment alternations during maintenance availability for ships; 2) Developing changes to improve various configuration and logistics policy and procedures; 3) Providing ship life cycle support to identify material related to life-cycle support deficiency issues as well as evaluating, documenting and reporting effectiveness; 4) Developing Fleet Program Support Management projects for weapons preparation activities, and identifying requirements to enhance operational readiness.
