About the Position:
This position is located on Joint Base Fort Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH), Arlington, VA.
Duties
Review all aspects of operations and programs to ensure effectiveness.
Review statistical data and analysis to make decisions concerning, such as directorate management, organizational structure, methods, processes, and procedures.
Review operations and division budgets.
Formulate plans for funding allocations.
Supervise the administrative staff, functions and resources.
Interview and select candidates, recommend hiring and promotion within Administrative section.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450 upon entering the position and annually.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements.
- A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience which includes, planning, program management, budgeting, financial management, contracting, cost/risk analysis, personnel management, labor/EEO management, and logistics planning. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12 or above).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
