About the Position: Serves as senior Logistics Management Specialist in the Classified Logistics Automation Branch of the G-4 Sensitive Activities Division, U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC).

Duties

Provides USASOC Sensitive Activities logistics automation capability development requirements into the Army’s development of the Army’s Enterprise Business Systems. Establishes and monitors the development and progress of logistics Information Technology (IT) and logistics automation support plans. Resolves/coordinates resolution of logistics IT and Logistics Information System (LIS) hardware and software issues impacting Sensitive Activities missions. Provides subject matter expertise (SME) for development of contracts, Statements of Objectives (SOO) and technical reviews in support of classified logistics contract administration.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret Sensitive Compartmented Info security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random drug testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% or less of the time.
• This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
