About the Position: This position is with the United States Army Reserve Command, G-4, Equipping Division located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
Duties
Direct short- and long-term operations for equipping strategies and management.
Provide programmatic input to Headquarters Department of Army for equipping and supporting automation program requirements.
Measure program effectiveness to improve program performance and ensure efficient operation of assigned logistics programs.
Employ a variety of tools for analysis and review of assigned logistics programs.
Coordinate with senior representatives of Headquarters Department of Army, ACOM, ASCC, and Direct Reporting Units (DRU) staff elements for resolution of logistics problems and issues.
Collaborate with Headquarters Department of Army, and Office of the Chief of Army Reserve (OCAR) for the procurement and distribution of equipment for the AR - both P1R - National Guard and Reserve Appropriation (NGREA).
Direct the daily operations of the Equipping Division staff.
Exercises full responsibility and authority for all personnel and human resource management decisions within the Equipping Division.
Oversight for the distribution, redistribution and divestment of MTOE/TDA equipment IOT modernize and build equipment readiness.
Manage the distribution of equipment as a result of Army Reserve Force Structure actions.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting contract representatives (COR) with management and monitoring of work for contractor support; establishes internal procedures and controls for an equipping logistics program; identifying organizations equipping resource needs; managing an equipping program at the Division level or higher; and establishing performance standards, evaluates performance of subordinates, provides advice as needed, identifies and provides for training needs of employees. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
