You will serve as a Department Deputy for Operations and Project Management Training Lead in the PROGRAM AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
Duties
You will oversee day-to-day operations of the Department and works collaboratively with the Deputy Department Head.
You will implement department and center strategic and tactical actions.
You will implement policies and procedures across the Center.
You will coordinate Department IPTs dealing with operational and personnel matters.
You will carry out assigned duties including counseling and training Department staff.
You will counsel and train Department staff, actively support EEO programs, and ensure compliance with regulations in such areas as finance, property management, occupational safety, environmental and security.
You will oversee the Center PM Training Academy, including tracking training, certification, and managing/maintaining the Academy's curriculum.
Requirements

Qualifications
NM-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ability to effectively lead teams and mentor subordinates with administrative systems (such as Defense Travel System (DTS), timekeeping, material purchase/contract/material management functions in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning); and create and/or update programmatic acquisition documents; directing personnel to achieve department goals.
NM-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ability to effectively lead teams and mentor subordinates with administrative systems (such as Defense Travel System (DTS), timekeeping, material purchase/contract/material management functions in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning); and create and/or update programmatic acquisition documents.
