You will serve as an Acquisition Program Specialist in the MRO Logistics Department, Acquisition and Procurement Branch ofFLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will analyze contract fund status reports to determine if the contractor's progress and expenditures compare with negotiated estimates.
You will use data processing software (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or similar software) to create reports.
You will research information used for technical development, acquisition, project plans or contracts.
You will assess the Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) program analyzing program policies to determine if users and managers meet procurement needs.
You will collaborate with Program Managers, Integrated Program Team (IPT) Leaders, and Customers to ensure development of accurate short- and long-term work plans.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). You must be certified as a Career Field A Level 2. Certification is required within 24 months of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized. Examples of;
1) Utilizing computer skills through oral and written communication in order to use the application of procurement laws, regulations and policies; 2) Preparing documents, analysis, formulation, research, expenditures to execute procurement actions; 3) Preparing and providing data analytical input to utilize a variety of computer software programs/application techniques such as developing charts, worksheets, estimates and correspondence; 4) Planning, scheduling and managing workload to compete priorities through the project life cycle; 5) Demonstrating problem solving capabilities in a customer service environment to prepare recommendations and ensuring mission essential support requirements are optimal and timely.
