About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization & Security organization on Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

Duties

Coordinate plans, training and mobilization requirements for Command with representatives from a variety of organizations. Monitor ongoing command projects and workload of subordinate personnel. Attend meetings with the Director to stay current on varied installation and garrison/BASOPS topics. Identify and recommend training to ensure the command's readiness posture supports an operational environment. Develop and implements pilot programs intended to improve performance. Serve as a Senior Operations Officer for the organization. Serve as senior operations officer for integration and synchronization of Directorate Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
