Duties

You will develop and review various logistical and technical documents, such as Bill of Materials, physical configuration audits, and remove and replace procedures. You will manage contract-related tasks, including overseeing Statement of Work (SOW) and Delivery Orders, and ensure compliance with Fleet Modernization Program timelines. You will manage and support the entire life cycle of assigned systems and equipment from Critical Design Review to final disposal. You will provide technical support and maintenance, ensuring systems engineering and configuration management tasks are completed effectively. You will oversee and develop Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) products and services, including creating and managing logistics engineering documentation. You will conduct test and evaluation procedures, and ensure the implementation of configuration management and baseline engineering tasks.

  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or NO-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilizing systems from Critical Design Review to disposal, including Baseline Engineering Management, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), configuration management, technical support, OR contract management; Developing logistics products, performing test and evaluation, creating technical documentation, OR conducting repair analyses. master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
