About the Position: Serve as a Supervisory Human Resources Spec (MIL) with responsibility for providing technical advice and guidance regarding a variety of military human resources program areas to all levels of management officials. Moving expenses and/or recruitment/relocation incentives MAY be authorized for this position.

Duties

As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist, you will perform duties to include but not limited to the following: Apply comprehensive expert functional knowledge of military personnel programs to all levels of management officials with the IMCOM Directorate and Garrisons. Oversee the management, execution and implementation of an effective military HR program. Develop guidance and standards for new and/or changing program areas. Provide recommendations and solutions to military HR management issues and problems. Present reports and briefings on military HR program status and/or recommend actions to appropriate individuals.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG).
