You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Program Development Branch, G-8 Division of MARFORCOM NORFOLK.
Duties
You will perform a broad range of qualitative and quantitative analyses of Marine Corps programs, policies and guidance.
You will manage the input of program data into the Future Years Defense Program (FYDP) databases and track changes throughout the FYDP, current year program and budget year cycle.
You will perform assessment of major initiatives/issues having an impact on the mission and operations of the command.
You will research and prepare program documentation for Navy funded programs.
You will monitor and maintain the FMFLANT/MARFORCOM USMC funded programs across the FYDP in the DoN Program Budget Information System (PBIS) database.
You will manage data and statistical files for analysis and evaluation of trends for the command and other DOD components.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing policies and procedures for work force management, analyze, document, and develop work force structures to support oragnization mission, and performing operational and statistical analysis of work force structure requirements.
