Duties
You will analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations for all aspects of the Command’s National Security Program requirements.
You will research, interpret, analyze, and apply security guidelines from various sources for local application.
You will develop and implement security plans and procedures for personnel and facilities that support advanced or special access program material.
You will develop and conduct security training/briefs/correspondence on a periodic basis to ensure personnel are well informed of security program requirements.
You will plan, organize, coordinate, direct and advise on procedures and reports for the initiation, review, evaluation, and recording of personnel security investigations.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Leads efforts in identifying, evaluating, recommending and supporting security related efforts throughout an organization;
2) Oversees and coordinates diverse provisions across a range of organizational management functions required to ensure the smooth and efficient tactical functioning of a security program;
3) Develops, maintains and documents security plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), instructions, and implementation plans for an organization to meet Force Protection, Physical Security, Information Security, Personnel Security and Industrial Security policy, directives, and best practices;
4) Works collaboratively with other Security representatives, department level managers and representatives of of an organization, where services are provided to conduct a continuing analysis of the functions and processes.
