Duties
Coordinates remanufacturing and overhaul efforts.
Reviews technical data packages (TDP) for accuracy and feasibility for use as depot remanufacturing and overhaul documents, and repair standards.
Assists the Maintenance shops in the fulfillment of the depot remanufacturing and repair mission.
Conducts research of technical literature and performance tests.
Assist Lead Engineer with the transition to sustainment of new radio platforms.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- Business travel required up to 25% of the time.
- Term employment is subject to a one-year trial period.

Specialized Experience GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes:1) Preparing repair standards for systems and equipment; 2) Analyzing technical information as it relates to electrical equipment; AND 3) Providing guidance to other technicians on testing, trouble-shooting, and diagnostic techniques. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
