Duties

Serve as the project lead and technical authority on one or more complex SATCOM/communication systems. Provide technical guidance to the customer and Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) management officials for new systems, which TYAD is responsible for the design, development, fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting. Review all PM requirements for technical guidance to ensure the system requirements will be met. Perform engineering analysis to verify design concepts, system integrity, and safety. Make sound administrative and technical decisions requiring an extensive background in various electronics fields. Travel to command and PM sites representing TYAD to describe TYADs capability to perform various design, analysis, and manufacturing tasks.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
