About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities.
Duties
Coordinates and tracks funding and budget activities. The incumbent assists in the development of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and annual budget submission.
Develops material fielding plans based on operational requirements and guidance from the Major Command, Department of the Army Headquarters, and Working Group.
Participates in designated program conferences, seminars, or meetings. Prepares and presents program and project briefings.
Serves as Project/Product Manager responsible for control of assigned Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, Mobility, Soldier Support, Special Purpose Munitions, Weapons or Breaching projects.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.
- Must file an annual financial statement. This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02).Specialized experience: 1) Interfacing with leadership and technical teams to develop and defend plans for assigned programs; 2) Coordinating acquisition support activities necessary to meet program objectives; 3) Assisting with the development of programmatic documentation such as Acquisition Plans and Acquisition Strategies.
