About the Position: This position is located at the IMCOM Directorate - Training, Installation Support Team, Fort Eustis, VA. Fort Eustis is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Transportation includes convenient interstate and major highways connecting the city to neighboring Hampton, York County, Gloucester, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Smithfield.
Duties
Serve as the IMCOM Training Directorate Chief of the Installation Support Team planning, directing, controlling, supervising and managing the Division.
Establish relationships that work through and in synchronization with leaders and staff at all levels of Department of Defense, Army, and IMCOM.
Plan and implement installation management key functional program initiatives and procedures to enable effective delivery of directed core services to assigned installations.
Review and analyze assigned garrison performance in relation to meeting goals, objectives, tasks, standards, and targets covering those of the IMCOM Functional Program.
Requirements

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) managing and directing installation support services directly affecting the accomplishment of a multi-service operation and a complex multi-mission military installation; 2) Experience in providing program direction, objectives, strategies and evaluations for installation support functions, operations and activities that include financial management, contracting services, law enforcement and security, housing management, family and community activities, internal review, equal opportunity, and personnel functions, technical and professional services including public works, environmental, energy, fire and emergency services: 3) Experience managing and evaluating the impact of operational factors, assessing fiscal soundness and taking appropriate action to ensure the operational success of installation programs and activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
