About the Position: Serves as deputy, expert technical advisor, and senior administrator to the Commander, 128th Aviation Brigade (AB), U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) located at Fort Eustis, Virginia.

Duties

Responsible for planning, directing, reviewing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of the organization. Knowledge of Army Aviation Maintenance and Training, Federal Service Labor Management, Resource Management, Military constructions and organizational logistics, Organizational design/TDA Development, and Security Assistance Training Programs. Participates with the Commander in ensuring necessary career developmental, professional, advanced technical, and leadership training of all aviation logistics warrant officers and enlisted personnel. Reviews for accuracy, completeness of technical detail and conformance to established policy correspondence, project, studies and other material requiring concurrences or approval of the Commander. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, set priorities and establishes schedules for work completion.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) travel of 5%.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
