You will serve as a ENERGY PROJECT MANAGER in the ENERGY MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG SYSTEMS COMMAND PAC.
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.9% will be added to the stated salary.
Duties
You will initiate energy projects and develops plans designed to reduce energy consumption and costs.
You will participate in programs that identify energy projects or opportunities.
You will provide initial feasibility assessment of proposed energy projects.
You will prepare or validate Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis for energy projects.
You will ensure proper Measurements and Verification of the energy projects.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Develop projects leveraging new energy efficient lighting technologies; 2.) Developing and implementing energy saving projects and analyzing the effectiveness of the program; and 3.) Evaluating the maintenance, repair and modification of existing facilities and equipment as they pertain to energy management; and 4.) Utilize microcomputers, spreadsheet, word processing computer programs to effectively develop and maintain data for the energy projects.
