This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA -ACQC/TRANSPORT PEO.
Duties
Maintains contracts and other corporate databases to ensure the availability of correct and current data.
Performs contract management functions, such as preparing requests for contract modifications and delivery orders; certifying vendor invoices; validating services and performance, with coordination of supported sites.
Coordinates and/or has knowledge of contracting: Performance Work Statements (PWS); Statements of Work (SOW); and Justifications and approvals.
Assists cross-functional teams consisting of government and contractors in managing highly complex and highly visible information technology businesses and/or programs in intensive schedule-driven environment.
Performs Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) functions for assigned contracts and provides guidance to contractors on the requirements as set forth in assigned contracts
Reviews contractor proposals upon request and advises Contracting Officers of the technical adequacy and correctness of the proposals, and the reasonableness of work estimates.

- This is a MISSION ESSENTIAL position.
- Individuals tentatively selected for drug testing designated positions at the Defense Information Systems Agency will be required to submit to urinalysis for illegal drugs prior to appointment or placement
- This position may require travel away from the normal duty station on an occasional basis.
- The incumbent must complete initial qualification requirements to become a Contracting Office'rs Representative (COR), and maintain COR qualifications by satisfying regulatory training requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Experience with contract management processes and policy, documenting requirements, estimating costs, and performing economic analyses and evaluation.
