You will serve as a Project Manager (Business Intelligence) in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Financial Management and Comptroller) (OASN (FM&C)) of the Department of the Navy.
Duties
You will coordinate consolidation efforts by overseeing the integration of financial systems across the Department of the Navy, ensuring alignment with the strategic consolidation goals.
You will support the Enhancement of Cybersecurity Measures by working with IT and cybersecurity teams to develop and implement enhanced controls and protocols to safeguard financial data.
You will support the organization in monitoring data integrity implementation, regular audits and assessments to ensure the integrity of financial data across consolidated systems.
You will serve as a liaison between different departments and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and coordination.
You will support the optimization of streamline systems architecture by leading initiatives to optimize and simplify the financial management systems architecture, including the identification and elimination of redundant systems.
You will work with leadership on system reduction and the evaluation and decommissioning of unnecessary systems to improve efficiency and reduce complexity.
You will develop and implement plans for system optimization and reduction, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
You will ensure effective portfolio management by overseeing the delivery and integration of FM systems within the improved governance structure, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
You will monitor and track the progress of FM system projects, ensuring they are on schedule and within budget.
You will engage with key stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure that the governance structure meets leadership/organizational needs and expectations.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience Improving financial processes, data integrity, and audit readiness to enhance financial accountability and operational efficiencies.
Experience overseeing the implementation of financial management systems to ensure alignment with strategic goals and provisions of accurate financial information.
Experience monitoring and tracking the progress of Financial Management system projects to ensure they are on schedule and within budget.
