You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Military Administration (Code 1132), Administration Services Division (Code Cl 130), Resources Management Division (Code 1100A) Corporate Operations Department (Code Cl 100), Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC), of MID ATLANTIC REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CTR.

Duties

You will provide customer-oriented support for operational units, Fleet and Type Commanders in matters of technical and logistical services and maintenance training. You will serve as a Senior Management Analyst, responsible for developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising, or improving the effectiveness of work methods, processes, and procedures for the Front Office. You will work with senior personnel throughout MARMC by responding to their general questions regarding program requirements, goals, and objectives. You will perform administrative and analytical duties in directives/forms, awards, evaluation, and sponsor management. You will execute special division projects and processes in providing service to military and civilian personnel in the command. You will perform duties for timekeeping and evaluations for civilian and military personnel to include correlating, status reporting, and tracking. You will provide analysis and recommendations for resolving departmental program integration problems between and among appropriate stakeholders and MARMC. You will summarize and evaluate methodology and results of initiatives designed to increase efficiencies in the department.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Lift/Carry 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with maintenance training associated with installation, operation, alteration, maintenance and readiness of shipboard equipment and services or other naval vessels. Experience in researching, interpreting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, providing analysis and recommendations for resolving departmental program integration problems between and among stakeholders. Experience preparing correspondence letters, reports, memoranda, messages, computer generated graphics, power point presentations, and formulates various databases and computer support. Experience in providing high-level executive administrative support, including travel booking and the preparation of travel vouchers for senior leadership, such as the Commanding Officer (CO), Executive Director (ED), and Executive Officer (XO). Demonstrated proficiency in coordinating and executing a wide range of Front Office events, including Visits, Tours, All Hands meetings, Town Halls, Stand-downs, Command-related events, Conferences, and Meetings. Adept at planning, coordinating, and executing these events in collaboration with private industry partners across the Hampton Roads area, as well as with various Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of Navy (DON) organizations. Proven ability to handle complex logistics and deliver seamless on-site execution to support organizational objectives. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

Successful completion of LL.M., if related

A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
