Duties
You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Resource Management Division (1100A), Mid-Atlantic Reginal Maintenace Center (MARMC) in Norfolk, Virginia.
You will be developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising on, or improving the effectiveness of work methods, processes and procedures within the Educational Services Office.
You will perform administrative and analytical duties in the area of Educational Services and Tuition Assistance.
You will provide all military personnel and chain of command notification on upcoming exams and worksheet signing deadlines.
You will monitor the advancements to paygrade E2 and E3 on a monthly basis using the Navy Enlisted Advancement System to ensure eligible personnel are promoted.
You will process Mid-Atlantic Reginal Maintenace Center (MARMC) Permanent Change of Station (PCS) gains along with the supporting PCS travel claims, process PCS transfers for sailors who are transferring in CONUS and overseas duty stations.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience being responsible for developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising on, or improving the effectiveness of work methods, processes and procedures within the Educational Services Office.
Experience managing the Educational Services Office and all requirements set forth by Navy instruction.
Experience reporting directly to the Administrative Services Division Head (Administrative Officer).
Experience performing administrative and analytical duties in the area of Educational Services and Tuition Assistance.
Experience assisting the Administrative Services Division Head (Administrative Officer) in the research and evaluation necessary to execute special division projects and processes in providing service to military personnel in the command.
Experience assisting and working closely with representatives from other departments and with representatives from branches within the division in responding to both external and internal requirements.
