The incumbent serves as a Program Specialist for the Technical Operations Training Division, AMA-405.

Duties

Serves as a contracting officer's representative responsible for the negotiation, award, and administration of contracts. Completes terminations, negotiations, contract modifications, and settles contract disputes. Monitors contract types and serves as the delegated signature authority for the administration of those contracts. Serves as the primary resource for acquisition information.

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Successful completion of a security investigation will be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H (GS/FG-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: experience with acquisitions management systems, contracting concepts, principles, and practices; experience with training delivery methods to validate training recommendations and instructional strategies; experience tracking and analyzing data to ensure compliance with policies and procedures; experience with a variety of software tracking systems (spreadsheets, databases, graphics, processing, etc).andQRF: A well-qualified applicant will have experience as a COR level 2 or 3.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
