Duties
Exercises management control of all functional inputs to the program
Analyzes the impact that contemplated budget revisions, proposed adjustments, legislative changes, economic trends, or directives from higher echelons may have upon projects or take positive action to minimize adverse effects.
Establishes priorities, maintains and controls all project milestones, or takes necessary action to ensure that all milestones are met or that workarounds are in place to counteract schedule problems.
Maintains liaison with appropriate representatives of DA, industry, supporting organizations, or involved foreign governments.
Assure up-to-date awareness of the planning of all actions, to preclude potential slippage, or to maintain projects within cost.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position certification at Level II in Acquisition Career Field Program Management within 60 months of entrance on duty.
- Selectee must obtain/maintain a Top Secret Clearance
- Financial Disclosure is required.
- Drug test is required.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 (GS-11). Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Define product vision and strategy while prioritizing requirements from stakeholders and planning and scheduling; and 2) Managing risk, team performance and stakeholders which includes regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on projects, risks, and manage expectations.
