You will serve as an IT PROGRAM MANAGER (PLCYPLN) in the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY & CYBER SECURITY (ITACS) OFFICE, Code 109, of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Duties
You will be responsible for implementing solutions to improve the effectiveness of the organization’s mission programs, applications, systems, and business
processes.
You will be responsible for developing and monitoring short- and long-range plans based on prioritized mission needs, mandates and anticipated changes of the organization.
You will be responsible for providing technical advice and assistance to customers on potential IT solutions to meet user requirements.
You will perform cost-benefit analyses to project potential Return on Investment (ROI) associated with implementation of certain proposals, or to assess risk involved in innovative systems and applications of new technologies or techniques.
You will plan and conduct in-depth analyses and studies of IT program objectives to determine existing as well as new IT solutions and systems are adequate and properly applied to achieve program objectives.
You will serve as the principal technical point of contact for assigned IT programs

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 801- PROGRAM MANAGER, proficiency level ADVANCED the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing and executing IT program requirements by addressing and correcting various conditions, problems or issues (such as budget, resource management, timeline and task management) to access program effectiveness and meet organizational goals. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
