You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Utilities Product Line (PW6) of the Public Works Department (PW) within NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC located in Norfolk, VA
Duties
You will provide business and financial evaluation, analysis, advice, and support to the Public Works Business Line.
You will work to ensure standardization and reliability of data, business metrics, and reporting.
You will analyze, extract, summarize, and identify significant trends and issue.
You will Forecast and estimate resource requirements and costs.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Requesting, tracking and reporting on the status of funds needed/received; 2) Providing objectively based information for making decisions on administrative, financial, and management aspects of PW utility operations;3) Providing support to Leadership in the overall day-to-day execution of UT program; 4) Preparing, reviewing, analyzing, editing and consolidating budget and financial submissions; 5) Managing, monitoring, evaluating funding for utilities; 6)Using financial management tools and reporting tools; 7) Applying knowledge of rules and processes related to the funding of assigned programs; And8) Applying Knowledge of DoD Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) requirements to ensure compliance and proper execution of funding.
