You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Department Support Division, within the Submarines & Maritime Industrial Operations Department, of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties
You will lead the Division's involvement in all acquisition functions and processes, including the analysis of system requirements and determination of operational procedures and solutions for Navy supply business processes.
You will coordinate and execute processes across the Department to ensure that goals and policies are adhered to and that customer interests are represented across the Command and NAVSUP Headquarters (NAVSUP HQ).
You will analyze directives and correspondence emanating from higher echelons concerning key issues involving all phases of weapon systems integrated logistics support.
You will plan work, set priorities for completion of work, and assign work within the Division.
You will develop, track, and report on metrics pertaining to the Department's execution of its mission requirements.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying expert knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), supply system, and inventory management concepts, policies, procedures, and techniques in relation to Weapons System acquisition, management and sustainment, including understanding the policies and procedures relative to weapons systems support. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Utilizing management principles and techniques to lead, direct, and coordinate work efforts encompassing various disciplines; 2) Analyzing reports and trends to recognize deficiencies and implement corrective action; 3) Managing budget and resource requirements to effectively plan operations for the Division; 4) Providing technical advice and guidance on logistics and supply system operations; and 5) Coordinating with internal and external contacts in support of assigned platforms, systems, and subsystems for the supported programs.
