About the Position: This position is located with Evans Army Community Hospital, For Carson, Colorado.
Duties
Determines and plans work to be accomplished by employees.
Identifies problems with health care processes and recommend alternatives to improve processes.
Coordinates and consults with Service Chief or designated supervisor on program administrative matters.
Gathers, analyzes, sustains, and interprets a diverse range of statistical and demographic information.
Monitors and coordinates personnel matters.
Conducts periodic inspections and provides advice and guidance regarding program deficiencies or areas that do not comply with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
- Required to be screened for and obtain necessary immunizations/vaccinations (hepatitis, influenza, etc.), unless exempted by a licensed physician.
- Position is designated as Inclement Weather Essential. The incumbent must make every attempt to report for work on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather conditions.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes documented experience in preparing and assisting with recommendations for administrative policies and procedures for implementation; Identifying problems with health care processes and recommends alternatives to improve processes; Assisting with gathering, analyzing, and interpreting a diverse range of statistical and demographic data to prepare such items as reports, justifications, charts, graphs, statistical and narrative data for briefings and/or presentations; and establishing and/or maintaining a manpower database information for personnel workload. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
