About the Position: This position is located at Evans Army Community Hospital, duty location is Fort Carson CO.

Duties

Planning and assigning work to be accomplished by Department of Surgery. Applying and overseeing the application of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the current level of effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery of care. Providing information support, and administrative/policy guidance for the business and clinical processes care. Communicating with market, hospital, and higher headquarters leadership on business performance, evaluation of performance targets, and recommendations for improvement.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes documented experience which demonstrates 1) training subordinates and reviewing their work/effectiveness; 2) providing administrative oversight of the operational functions of clinic's primary and ancillary services, enrollment, and appointing functions; 3) providing health service information support to supported areas of responsibility; 4) directing, conducting, and providing oversight of business case analysis initiatives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Health Policy Planning SupportHealth Systems AnalysisHealthcare Operations AdministrationOral Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
