About the Position: This position is located in Evans Army Medical Hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado. This is an office environment working with clinical staff.

Duties

Serve as a Practice Manager (PM) for one or more complex, multi-faceted, medical practice(s). Manage the day-to-day operations of the practice, allowing clinical staff to focus on patient care needs unencumbered by administrative tasks. Contribute to the development and implementation of standard policies and procedures applicable at the practice level. Plan, direct, analyze, and coordinate administrative activities for a health care delivery system. Develop, implement, and oversee systems for the purchase of materials and equipment, review and make recommendations for temporary duty (TDY) requests, training, and other expenditures.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • May be required to complete a 1 year Supervisory probationary period.
  • TDY may be required 15% of less.
  • This position requires a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccine and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
  • Immunization screening may be required.
