You will serve as a MANGEMENT ANALYST in the TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND (TECOM) of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.

Duties

You will be responsible for the complete oversight of the Defense Performance Mangement and Appraisal Program and performance management metrics. You will aid management in the establishment of performance standards. You will maintain the status on all civilian appraisals and provide reports as requirement. You will make oral and written reports and presentations, and prepare necessary narratives, statistics, graphs, and charts. You will prepare and submit requests for personnel actions using the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), that include recruitment, reassignment/realignment, LWOP, Awards, Corrections and Separations You will consolidate information derived from the multiple human resources information systems (i.e., DCPDS, TWMS,) and SharePoint site to conduct analysis and produce reports.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) conducting and evaluating a formal training program, 2) advising managers on administrative and programmic aspects of manpower management, and 3) analyzing data in order to respond to inquiries. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
