About the Position: This position is located at the 43d AG Battalion at Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri. Ft Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is a little more than an hour's drive to the West of Fort Leonard Wood.
Duties
Serve as a functional lead team member and primary trainer/developer for IPPS-A.
Serve as Alternate Billing Official for all government credit card purchases for the organization.
Interview candidates for positions in the division.
Effect minor disciplinary measures, such as warnings and reprimands.
Manage a hybrid training environment (Basic Combat Training, One Station Unit Training, Advanced Individual Training) and all that it entails.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) is required approximately 25% of the duty time.
- The employee may be required to work overtime to include weekends and federal holidays, out of cycle, or on an emergency basis.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing resources that include budget, supply, contracting, manpower, training management, security management, and human resources; developing and implementing plans, programs, policies, and procedures to accomplish program operations; and preparing presentations and/or briefings to advise senior leadership. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
