Duties
You will be responsible for Information Technology (IT) analysis, requirements, programming, testing, implementation, coordination, and maintenance for detailed systems and program code documentation for IT systems/applications.
You will design, develop, and modify program logic.
You will provide technical advice, assistance or direction to customers, sponsors, user representatives, Subject-Matter Experts (SMEs), and IT personnel regarding a wide variety of IT matters.
You will conduct extensive analysis of IT design and modification proposals to determine the feasibility and practicality of the project or proposed automation from a technical standpoint.
You will establish and execute plans for the Quality Assurance (QA) of all programs in assigned systems, applications, or equivalent.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 621, proficiency level Intermediate, the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying working knowledge of applications software and systems engineering concepts and techniques to manage and maintain assigned systems/applications. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Analyzing Information Technology (IT) problems, evaluating potential alternatives, and developing solutions; 2) Utilizing database management principles and methodologies, including data structures, data modeling, data warehousing, and transaction processing to ensure applications are compatible with the system environment; 3) Providing technical guidance on systems/tools such as JAVA, HTML, SQL, and LOGCELL; and 4) Designing, developing, and modifying program specifications and testing requirements. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
