You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Cybersecurity/ Risk Management Framework Division of NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER.
Duties
You will serve as the senior authority for coordinating, planning, and implementing Cybersecurity requirements throughout BSC and NAVSUP, providing enterprise-wide support.
You will coordinate and integrate complex technical aspects of the computer security discipline with administrative matters such as, standards management, acquisition/ consolidation and configuration management, and risk management.
You will be responsible for the interpretation, establishment, implementation, communication, enforcement, and enhancement of complex Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
You will develop solutions to integration/ operability issues and develop, design, and manage systems while providing technical assistance and advice.
You will perform a full range of supervisor duties including planning work for subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, evaluating work performances, etc.
You will develop, communicate and enforce complex cybersecurity policy, and provide reviews and oversight of great volumes of technical documentation.

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (752), proficiency level (III Advanced) the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
You have at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
In addition to demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. This specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing and managing Risk Management Framework Accreditation Project plans for a portfolio of IT projects including setting and meeting short and long range project goals, strategies, and cybersecurity mandates; 2) Effectively managing enterprise IT projects in the areas of cybersecurity and information assurance to ensure compliance with all cybersecurity mandates; 3) Building and managing matrixed project teams based on organizational goals, cybersecurity mandates, budget considerations, and staffing needs; 4) Leading, organizing, and directing teams in completing Navy/NAVSUP Risk Management Framework accreditation projects with an enterprise impact to include but not limited to: Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN), Cloud, Enterprise Video Services, and commercial Wi-Fi; 5) Expressing information effectively, making clear and convincing oral and written presentations to stakeholders, customers, and senior leadership on future milestones, project status, and technical/ architectural analysis for decision making.
